Robin Eggs Mani

“Robin Eggs”

For Easter I decided to do a Robin Eggs Mani using a frankened Tiffany box blue I created a while back and China Glaze Mahogany Magic for the speckles.

It’s actually really difficult to get a fine spatter design by actual spatter, so I used a very fine dotting tool and some finger smudging to achieve this look. Took a bit of practice, but I think I came close, and as a result I’m photographing my right hand for once since it turned out better than the left (practice makes perfect). It’s actually really difficult to get a fine spatter design by actual spatter, so I used a very fine dotting tool and some finger smudging to achieve this look. I also took the opportunity to get a quick photo of the robin eggs while I was outside with Codypup.  They’re so cute all snug in the tree and one with nature!

I was also at a housewarming party on Saturday, and the lovely hostess put out some Mini Eggs, being the Easter weekend and all, so I HAD to indulge, of course.  Turns out my nails felt right at home with the other speckled eggs.  So cute!!!
