NOTD: Barry M Navy with Ninja Polish Midas Touch
Today I am wearing two more polishes from my epic collaborative secret Christmas packages from my amazing friends
The base is Barry M Navy, a metallic polish that is a nice one coater, great formula. No issues. Cleans up well without leftover stain that you expect with most dark blues. It’s got a bit of a jellyish feel, if that makes sense.
And with the addition of Ninja Polish gold flake top coat Midas Touch, this baby lights up and looks like something from Cleopatra’s jewelry box! Seriously, it looks like lapis lazuli and gold Egyptian decorative jewelry!
I thought I would do a closeup on one of the larger gold flakes that magically appeared on my right hand:
GOLD RUSH! Yeeeehawwwww!
Okay, seriously, though. I love what the girls at Ninja Polish did with this topcoat. It is very jellyish, and I did have to do a bit of fishing for gold pieces (panning for gold you might say) just to touch up a few bare spots, but for the most party they were very generous with the bling. And I did a final top coat of Poshe. The final mani dried in average time, even though Midas Touch was a very generous layer and very jelly. It doesn’t take forever and a day to set and stay squishy like you would expect a jelly polish, for instance. LOVE.
What have you paired Midas Touch or any of the other gold flake topcoats with?
