Candy Cane Mani
I wanted to do the candy cane stripes but thought wanted to spruce it up a bit with silver polish instead of white! My base colour is Pure Ice Silver Mercedes that my good friend Desiree from my birthday group gave to me. It is a metallic foil that I would almost call a chrome, although it is not quite stampable. There are brush strokes but can be tamed quite a bit with top coat. I do suggest buffing before polishing to reduce bumps and flaws that get highlighted by chromes. Since I was going to put the candy stripes overtop anyhow, I didn’t do any buffing.

I used striping tape to get the even spacing and cleaner lines, but since All Nighter and British Racing Green are not very thick polishes, there was a bit of bleeding (very easily touched up, of course). Certainly better than my own freehand alone could have accomplished lol!
